For my friend Jackie, orange juice must have the following characteristics:
1) Be not-from-concentrate
2) Be FULL of pulp -- "I want to chew my orange juice. I want it to leave a residue on my glass. I want
there to be so much pulp on the glass that you have to rinse it off or throw it away."
(I will try to refrain from personal editorial comments about her quirks, like how WRONG pulp is...)

Did you know that Sunny Delight was made from the pulp wash? Yes, after Tropicana was done with it's oranges, it took all of the pulp, stirred in some sugar and water and BAM, you have Sunny D. This has nothing to do with JLT or her quirks, but thought you might want to know. :)

ReplyDeleteJackie once worked at a movie theatre, so she can be forgiven for not loving the smell of popcorn. However, there's really no excuse for banishing one's husband and child to the garage simply because they enjoy the occasional bowl of Mr. Redenbacher's finest.
